SoFlo Reptiles – Terms of Service

Welcome to SoFlo Reptiles! These Terms of Service govern your use of our website, products, and services. By placing an order, you agree to abide by these terms and our policies.


TERMS OF SALE

  • You must be 18 years or older to purchase.

  • By placing an order, you acknowledge that you are entering into a legally binding contract and agree to all terms herein.

  • You agree to pay all expenses including legal fees, court costs, and attorney fees incurred by the seller in the event of breach of these terms.

  • These Terms of Sale supersede those provided by Shopify or any third-party marketplace used for transactions.


1. Legal Compliance

  • We only sell and ship reptiles in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.

  • It is your responsibility to ensure the species you order is legal to possess in your location.

2. Payment Methods We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Shopify Payments (credit/debit cards)

  • Zelle

  • Cash App

  • Venmo

Payment must be received in full before any animal is marked as sold or prepared for shipment.

3. Order Processing and Shipping

  • Orders are shipped Monday through Wednesday via UPS Overnight.

  • We currently ship exclusively through UPS. FedEx is not available at this time.

  • Orders are typically processed within 24–48 hours after payment and scheduling confirmation.

  • We reserve the right to delay or reschedule shipments due to animal health, weather conditions, or holiday closures.

4. Shipping Requirements

  • All live animal shipments must go to a verified UPS Store that accepts live animals (not just UPS hubs).

  • You will receive instructions after checkout to locate an eligible UPS location.

  • Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) is only valid if the package is picked up within 2 hours of availability at the specified UPS location.

5. Live Arrival Guarantee (LAG) We guarantee your animal will arrive alive and healthy under the following conditions:

  • Shipment is made Monday–Wednesday via UPS Overnight

  • Package is sent to a verified UPS Store that accepts live animals

  • Temperatures at both ends are 35°F to 90°F

  • The package is picked up within 2 hours of arrival

  • Accurate shipping information is provided

6. Live Arrival Guarantee Voided If:

  • Shipment is made outside Monday–Wednesday

  • Delivery is to a home/business address

  • Package is not picked up within 2 hours

  • Weather conditions are unsafe and customer still requests shipping

  • Customer provides inaccurate or incomplete contact info

  • Temperatures fall below 40°F or exceed 100°F

  • Amphibians are included in the order

  • Shipment is modified by customer request after it has left our facility

  • The customer refuses or fails to pick up the package

  • The order is international or handed off to an exporter

  • FedEx is used (not supported at this time)

7. DOA Policy (Dead on Arrival)

  • In the rare event of a DOA, you must contact us within 30 minutes of package pickup.

  • You must provide clear photos of the dead animal placed on top of the original shipping label, all in one photo.

  • Do not dispose of the animal or packaging until we instruct you to do so. Our shipping insurance carrier may require these items.

  • Approved claims will be offered a replacement animal of the same type or a credit if the animal is not available.

  • Credits must be used within 90 days. No refunds.

  • Shipping for replacement animals is paid by the buyer.

  • The Live Arrival Guarantee covers the animal only, not the original shipping cost.

8. Animal Health & Sexing

  • All animals are guaranteed healthy and feeding at the time of sale.

  • Sex of animals is not guaranteed unless explicitly stated. We do our best to provide accurate sexing.

9. Returns and Refunds

  • Live animal sales are final. No returns accepted.

  • Refunds or replacements may be offered at our discretion for verified DOA claims that meet the conditions above.

SoFlo Reptiles – Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy and do not sell or share your information.

  • Information collected during checkout (name, address, phone, email) is used solely for order processing and communication.

  • Payment information is handled securely through our payment providers.

You may request deletion or review of your data at any time by contacting us.


SoFlo Reptiles – Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee the safe, live arrival of all animals shipped under the following terms:

What’s Covered:

  • Animals shipped UPS Overnight to a verified UPS Store that accepts live animals

  • Shipment occurs Monday–Wednesday

  • Pickup occurs within 2 hours

  • Weather is safe (35°F–90°F)

What’s Not Covered:

  • Shipping to residential addresses or businesses

  • Delayed pickups beyond 2 hours

  • Unsafe weather or extreme temperatures below 40°F or above 100°F

  • Incorrect contact or shipping info

  • Amphibians

  • Exported orders

  • Modified shipping details

  • Use of FedEx (not supported)

In Case of DOA:

  • Contact us within 30 minutes of pickup

  • Provide clear photos of the animal placed on the original shipping label

  • Do not discard the animal or packaging until instructed

  • Approved claims receive a replacement animal or credit (valid 90 days). Shipping for replacements is buyer’s responsibility.
